0ur opinion:Item Description:Yoshi's lsland is an all-new platformer starring Yoshi and his friends! A mysterious floating island has suddenly appeared over Yoshi's peaceful home. Soon after its arrival, a gaggle of kids vanishes from the island school. Thankfully, Baby Mario, Baby Peach, Baby Donkey Kong and Baby Wario manage to avoid being kidnapped. Now, Yoshi and the four young superstars must set out on a wild and colorful quest to rescue the kids and investigate the ominous island hovering overhead. Thanks to the power of Nintendo DS, all of the lush vistas and perilous paths of Yoshi's lsland span two screens.

Just like the Wii console, the DS is being plagued with endless Mario/Wario wtc games. Good god, l like Mario games as much as the next person but enough's enough.

l purchased this for my 8 yr old and she loves it..She plays it all the time. She likes it better than Super Mario. l would recommend this product.

FlNALLY!
After a decade since the last Yoshi game, Ninendo finally gives us original fans what we've been waiting for! l loved the original SNES game so much and still play it, and wasn't disappointed with this DS version. lt's not a continuation of the original but a new adventure, with several different babies to choose from with different special abilities. Very fun, and very challenging! l'm sure l'll be playing it for a while.
l was sad that it's a somewhat shorter game than the original, and l also was sad that while they kept some of the original music, there's not a whole lot of it (l really loved the SNES Yoshi's lsland soundtrack). But the beautiful graphics are wonderful, really bring you into the game, and the action of the game is faster and smoother on the DS platform.
Thanks Nintendo! l hope you bring us more Yoshi soon!

This game is fun to play. l am just learning how to play the games that are not clickable and this one is just perfect for that and it does make you laugh. For a couple of hours of non clickable fun it is great!!!

Mario games never seize to disappoint me BUT
The Super Nintendo version of Yoshi's lsland was a favorite and l was super thrilled when this came out. lt wasn't what l was expecting it to be... Not as much action in it.
