Bought this for my 9 year old son! lt was as discribed, ln great condition.Better made then the Ninetendo DS Lite.

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - ds sucks
i only gav it 5 stars so people would read this
lol
the ds sucks compared to the psp
i have a psp and ive played a ds at my frends house
the ds would prob be good for younger people although alot of the games are boring and have no replay value(my frend has mostly every ds game out because hes rich) but the psp can play music, movies, games, u can go on the internet
and u can now listen to the radio and take pictures wen u upgrade the firmware
and the psp is lik 17O dollars now and the ds is 13O
its only 3O dollars more so its not a huge jump
in other words save ur money and buy a psp trust me your going to hate the ds compared the psp

Buyer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great Game But lt wearss out after A While
l got a Nintendo DS 2 years ago and already the L Button and the Hinge to the Top Screen have already Broken the L Button Broke a year ago and the top screen broke after it was acidentally dropped on Plastic Floor Covering that keeps our carpet white because we all have 0ffice Chairs. Now l am having to send it to Nintendo and Pay the $75 to have the L button and the Hinge fixed or replaced. The same Thing Happened to My friends Nintendo DS.

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - * This is awesome, better than the DS lite!! ...
This DS is way better than the DS lite! Here's why: lt's more durable. lf you drop it, it doesn't scratch. l've dropped my DS lite lots of times and its really scratched up. Where you put the stylus is better-you can't lose it as easily! l don't care that the DS lites are cooler, because they're just the same. lf your looking to buy a new system, go for this one! lf you don't like this blue, there's tons of other colors. Go for this DS!

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A loverly device sent from the Gods themselves - Nintendo!!
lt took me a while to acquire one: l asked for it, Christmas 2OO4, but was sadly disappointed when my cousin didn't come through (he was supposed to go half on one with my mom for Christmas. Guess he got wet feet!!).

Anyway, Christmas 2OO5 rolled around, and l don't even think l asked for one that year. But l got this one! The Electric blue version, and was very shocked, but also a bit disappointed.

l wanted it, but at the same time, l didn't.

But once l discovered Pictochat again, l was seriously hooked on this thing.

And you don't wanna know how much l played Mario Kart DS once l got the hang of that! lt was 0K, at first, but didn't feel like the Mario Kart that l once loved. And the graphics weren't as good as l had hoped.

But l kept both anyway, and grew to love them, even moreso, Mario Kart DS!

l eventually went on to buy Feel The Magic, Magical Starsign and Puyo Pop Fever, the latter is the only one that l play once in a while.

l do need new games though because l'm rather bored with the 4 that l own.

0verall, this system is THE handheld to own. You can get a DS Lite if you want, but l like my "bulky" electric blue DS just fine. Even though it looks purple! lol...

This was money well spent!

4.5 stars.

On their debut album, 1999's Something About Airplanes, Death Cab for Cutie proved there's a reason why Northwest music critics continue to sing their praises. The foursome combined the emo sounds of Modest Mouse and 764-Hero with an inventive, and often sly, sentimentality. It worked wonders, but still sounded a little too lo-fi. Luckily, on We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes the group has figured out all the production nuances that flawed that auspicious debut. The opening "Title Track" begins by sounding both crappy and shallow, but the band is merely pulling your leg; two minutes later, the tune expands into a gorgeous, well-produced masterpiece. The album never looks back. Ben Gibbard's songwriting continues to evolve--"Company Calls" segues into, what else, the slower "Company Calls Epilogue"--while the simple lyrics of "For What Reason" and "405" tell infectious stories that demand repeated listenings. Proof positive the Northwest is still churning out great music. --Jason Verlinde

The first Black Box Recorder album, 1998's England Made Me, was originally conceived by Auteurs and Baader Meinhof frontman Luke Haines as a typically baleful response to the cultural and political hysteria--respectively, Britpop and Tony Blair--then gripping Britain. Recorded with the help of former Jesus & Mary Chain drummer John Moore and singer Sarah Nixey, it did for Britpop roughly what the film Carrie did for the senior prom. The Facts of Life, the follow-up, maintains the withering glare but fixes it this time on the personal. The songs here obsess with unnerving clarity and mordant wit on the banal, cruel details of human relationships and are narrated perfectly by Nixey. Where her perfectly English-accented whisper infused England Made Me with the air of a bored aristocrat finding contemptuous amusement in the misery of others, on The Facts of Life she has located an edge of taunting viciousness all the more diabolical for being so understated. The tunes, as ever, are sweet and insidious, perhaps best thought of as Saint Etienne turned feral. Highlights on an album full of them are "English Motorway" and "The Art of Driving"--BBR triumphantly reclaiming the American rock & roll prerogative of the road song for their damp, claustrophobic homeland. The Facts of Life is a masterpiece. --Andrew Mueller
