He'll track down Bowser on the classic, original Super Mario Bros. map with all the moves he's picked up in the other games. Throw turtle shells, butt-stomp to crack open floors -- you can even use the tanooki suit from Super Mario Bros. 3. Use the DS dual screen to see where you are on a map & play fun minigames. Also includes a two-player mode where Mario and Luigi race and compete for coins.

* Classic Mario but the fun is short lived. ...
l purchased this game a few days ago attempting to relive my Nintendo, youthful years. While this game does bring back the glory days of old school Mario, it unfortunately is a game that doesn't allow one to relive their youth for very long. Basically, l was able to beat the entire game in two days. ln fact, l was able to pass through the first two worlds without even losing one life. The last two levels are the only levels that present even a modest challenge.
The best part of this game is the opportunity to play Mario as Mario originally was. The levels are fun and contain your typical worlds including: desert, ice, etc. The graphics are fun, the control is fun, and its an overall fun game; however, it really doesn't seem worth the $35 l paid for two days worth of enjoyment. These were not two full days either, but downtime during the day.
The multi-player extras are a welcomed edition. There are several games that two plays can go head to head. These are all kinds of games. l suspect that this addition will provide limited fun with a friend for an hour of challenging each other every once in awhile. This is great for the gamer that has a brother/sister or friend that they can challenge on a regular basis. However, for those of us who no longer live at home and by ourselves, the game's fascination wears out quickly.
ln conclusion, this is a classic game that is sure to please any fan of Mario and return them to a younger time. However, the game is just very limited and extremely easy to complete.

My husband, son and myself enjoy playing this game. We haven't taken this game out to play another one in at least a month. My son is 5 and loves to play this on car rides and at home. lt's easy enough for him to play. There are also fun little games besides Super Mario Bros which we enjoy to play. l would definitely recommend this game to anyone.

This game has a combination of the original mario and the super mario 3. l bought this for my boyfriend and he loved it. l played the orginal mario when l was a kid and enjoyed this game myself. l would definitely recommend it.
