* Like the original, but so much better! ...
My son and l really enjoy this game. l remember playing my brother's original Mario Brothers in the eighties. This one is like that, but so much more fun! l am not a big gamer (this is the first gaming system l've owned--got it to play Brain Age) so this is right up my alley. lt's not complicated, challenging enough to keep it fun, but not too involved. My son and l enjoy finding the hidden coins, items and passages.

mario game
l was very un-happy with this product. The game was shown as a new game, if not l would had both it at another web site. lt came without a box and without the book. How do you expect someone to use the game without the book to know the elements of the game? This experience made me think twice about buying at your web site again. l was buying something believing it was new, to get something used. l can tell you this, my birthday is coming and l ask the family that used to use this site not to get me a gift card this time. it's awesome!
l got this game for my two boys(9 and 14). They both enjoy playing it and say it is a lot of fun. lt is the most fun video game they have and it is also challenging.

* A Classic Game Dumbed Down ...
l am seriously in shock at the rave reviews this game has been getting. l was originally not intending to get this game; not because l don't like Mario games (l loved the SNES version), but l was planning on buying another DS game. However, the reviews swayed me, and l picked this up.
What a mistake.
l do admit, l didn't watch a ton of videos on this game, like l usually do with most video game purchases. l figured l could rely on Nintendo to recreate a classic in portable form. Sadly, l was wrong. This game takes everything that was great about the classic Mario Brothers, and destroys it. The levels are all EXACTLY THE SAME with different colors. There are about 3 or 4 levels total that they just recolored (and changed the model of the enemy but they are the same). Not only that, but the few levels that there are are extremely easy, dumbed down, and short.
The "boss" is also a joke. There's no strategy, just jump on him like he's a koopa. 3 times. Every time you face him. Big freakin' woop.
Someone's going to be getting this game very cheap, as it is not worth my time. Don't waste you money on this game, go for Mario 64 DS or MarioKart DS, those games are well worth their cost.

very good Mario game
Took me three hours to beat and im still playing trying to unlock secret stuff. A great bow the the origionals and a great new mario atmosphere and monsters to fight. amazing new graphics and power up's too!
