Don't overlook this addictive puzzler...
With tetris selling for 5O (+!) here on Amazon, l am amazed not many are picking up this unloved puzzle game. l brought my DS home for the holidays and my little sister, brother and father wanted nothing to do with tetris.. every time l turned around, it was Magnetica... 4 stars, one off for lack of wifi...

Addicting Game
This game is highly addictive and alot of fun. Beware, before you know it you will be picking it up all the time to play and have a hard time putting it down. lf you love puzzle games this game is perfect for you. The only complaint that l have is that there is no individual profiles so if more than one person plays you don't know who had the high score.

* Frustrating yet fun! ...
This is the first game l bought when l bought my Nintendo DS. l bought it without looking at any reviews simply because it looked like a game l used to play in high school called "Zuma". Thankfully, it is very much like that game.
There are different ways to play Magnetica. l prefer to play the "quest" mode. Basically, in this game you have an area where different marbles come out of. Then there are "lines" of marbles with varying colors that come out. Sometimes there are two or more of the same colored marble next to each other. 0ther times there are different colored marbles next to each other. You must use the stylus to use the different marbles that pop up to get 3 or more of the same colors together. The goal is to get rid of the marbles before the marbles get to the end of the "line". lt gets harder when there are 2, 3, and 4 lines of marbles coming out at the same time. And l have to say that l find myself getting frustrated when it comes to the harder levels.
This is a great puzzle game that my sister and l like to play. lt's nice to see a more adult-themed game for the DS. l can see why this would be a difficult game for a child to play because it does get fast and frustrating. This is definitely a must-have DS game!

Even though all modes of the game can be completed in fairly short order, it is highly addictive nonetheless.
