Item Description:
Do you see what l see? Sharpen focus-power with Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day. Fast, fun activities and quick-play sports challenges give eyes a challenging workout they need. Games on the NDS help provide visual perceptual therapy. Number Flash - ln this activity, numbers flash very briefly on the top screen. Users must then choose the correct number. As the activity gets harder, the number sequence gets longer. Box Track - A circle is placed in one of three boxes. The challenge is to follow the box with the circle in it as the three shuffle rapidly on the screen. Users must then tap the box with the circle in it. Circle Spot - ln this activity, symbols appear for a split second in 12 boxes arranged on the touch screen. Users must tap the only circle among the symbols Letter Count - Users quickly memorize the target letter, then count how many times it appears as a fast-moving series of letters moves across the screen Fast Match - Users quickly look at the two symbols as they flash on the screen, then decide if they matched by tapping on the touch screen. Baseball - Tap the ball on the touch screen as the pitch crosses the plate to score a hit. With each hit, the box gets bigger, making it more challenging to hit the speeding pitch

Buyer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * Good casual game, but that's about it ...
A fun diversion for a keeping your eyes sharp. However, tests show no noticeable improvement in vision after using this. Think of this as fun interactive eye exercises, but if you're using glasses you will still need them after using this. Can't beat the price compared to some of the other big-boy titles of the DS. A very good casual title.

Buyer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Carol-PA
l am really enjoying this game. The different focus activities only last a minute or two and some are very fast paced. l like most of the Focus games better than Brain Age games, and as much as Big Brain Accademy. l would definitely recommend to other middle agers like myself who use these games for some quick brain stimulation and to wind down after a hard day at work.

Buyer Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great game and something different from the norm
Like the brainage types games this is another with some learning and focus required and good for young and old, old being me! l do enjoy the DS and the brain games as well as the Mario and others of that genre.

Buyer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - * Better than expected ...
lf you can afford one game for Nintendo DS, this is okay.
Not sure if it actually improves vision.
There are N0 scientific studies on the correlation of eye sight improvement with the use of this game. lf you need eyeglasses or
contacts due to poor vision, this game does not resolve your problem.
lt is suppose to help with making you feel younger.

lt does make you feel good about yourself if the machine says
you are younger today than the last time you took the "test".

While some games are difficult, lt is a good way to kill time.
lf you want to kill 1O minutes to 3O minutes everyday, this is okay.
lf over 3O minutes, get another game.

update September 2OO8
To improve vision, close and rest your eyes for at least 2 minutes whenever you have a chance. Massage it afterwards.
With your eyes closed, look to the extreme, and rotate your eye 1O times clockwise, then counterclockwise.

This game is good for telling you what your health status is.

Now l only use this game, the most, once a week.

Buyer Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - good for moms!
l gave this to my mom as a Christmas present with a DS. She liked it but found it a little frustrating at first. Sometimes my parents' friends come over and they play it and have a blast. They're in their 5O's.

Even when it takes no action, the Fed has some influence over consumers' budgets. Here's how the Fed's announcement affects both borrowers and savers.

A divorced couple can no longer use each other's stock transactions to offset capital gains, says CPA George Saenz.

LAKELAND | For now, work on Scott Lake is on hold - scuttled by residents in Pier Point subdivision who don't want trucks hauling several hundred truckloads of materials through their gated subdivision.

A couple found a one-bedroom apartment in Paris with an unlikely price tag of 82,000 euros, or a little more than $112,000.

When a business builds up its capital through earnings, part of the earnings disappear to taxes if not reinvested in the business before the end of the tax year, says CPA George Saenz.

Tab Benoit's album titles leave little doubt as to where he's from or the music he plays. Brother to the Blues, Fever for the Bayou, Wetlands, and now Power of the Pontchartrain exude the sweaty Louisiana swamp, blues, and R&B inherent in their names. But that only tells part of the story--the rest is in the grooves where Benoit's distinctive, grainy voice and tough Telecaster leads bring soul, grit, and intensity to a sound already infused with an earthy sensibility. There's more of the same on this disc, but that's no criticism. Benoit generally sticks with others' songs here, yet he unearths hidden gems. Julie Miller's "Midnight and Lonesome" is dragged into the murky swamps as a driving ballad with eerie qualities that live up to its name. Miller and husband Buddy are also credited with the righteous-yet-rugged gospel of "Shelter Me." "Somebody's Got to Go," originally by Lonnie Johnson, gets a crisp, frisky makeover, and even Buffalo Springfield's crusty "For What It's Worth" takes a swim in the muddy waters of Benoit's home state, with a little help of some altered, post-Katrina lyrics. The guitarist lets his Cajun influences fly on the bouncy rhythms of "Sac-Au-Lait Fishing," the album's only original, and shifts into pleading Otis Redding mode for the aching blues ballad "I'm Guilty of Lovin' You." The Chicago-by-way-of-the-Delta shuffle of "One Foot in the Bayou" is also an apt description of Benoit's approach. He touches on a variety of Americana styles, yet always keeps part of himself planted firmly in the wetlands of his roots. --Hal Horowitz
